Self Assignments
Setting yourself self-assignments is a way of keeping the creating flame glowing. It does not matter if the assignments are long term, short term or never ending providing that you have a genuine interest in them. By working on these projects you force yourself to look at the world in a different way which can mean that you make images that you would not normaly create. The photo above is part of my 'Waste' series. I am sure that I would not have taken the photograph if I did not have this project in mind. You can see more of the images in this series here.
