Sunflower
This is the first sunflower that my boys have grown this year - very exciting for them! I wanted the flower to stand out from the background so I darkened the background a little. First I had to make a selection to isolate the flower. I did this using the 'Color Range' tool in the 'Select' menu in Photoshop. This is a little used tool that is well worth experimenting with, especially if you have an odd shaped area of a similar colour to select.
